An important update regarding Auskick-
CHANGE OF DAY
In mid-September, Football Centre advised Auskick that they could not honour our Friday morning booking of the English College sports field for next season, due to an administrative error.
Over the past few weeks, the Auskick Committee have worked tirelessly to approach sports ground providers throughout Dubai to seek a new venue.
Unfortunately, there are no suitable venues that are available on our usual Friday morning timeslot.
Therefore Auskick will now need to be held on Saturday mornings.
The Auskick Committee understands that this may not be ideal for everyone, but we do not have alternative options.
The Auskick season is now planned to start on Saturday 21st October 2017. (8:30 – 10:00 am)
NEW VENUE
The good news is that Auskick have found an excellent venue at Sports Park in Dubai Sports City.
Sports Park has a professional standard grass pitch which is much better quality than English College, and is also larger in size.
For those who can remember when Port Adelaide came to Dubai - this is the same pitch that was used then.
There is also a café located at the venue which is a bonus.
We have attached a map of the new venue for your information.
REGISTRATION COSTS
Due to the venue change, the registration costs for the season will increase - but still offer good value for money compared to other sports activities.
Registration costs for the 2017/2018 season shall be as follows;
· AED 500 for the first child
· AED 400 for additional children
· AED100 per family for ANZA membership. (Australia and New Zealand Association)
The Dubai Government requires this membership for us to gather as a group. Note: No need to pay this if you are already a member of ANZA.
We have attached a copy of the Registration Form for the 2017/2018 season.
These can also be filled in on the first day of the season.
LET THE SEASON COMMENCE
We hope that you and your children can still make the new Saturday timing for Auskick and enjoy the season ahead.
We look forward to seeing you at Sports Park on the 21st October at 8:30 am for the start of the Auskick season,
